Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the campground was quite disappointing. While it was nice to have electric and water RV hookups nearby, the facilities left much to be desired. The bathrooms were inadequate for the number of guests, and the sanitation dump area was poorly designed. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and the laundry situation was frustrating as well. Overall, it's a decent stop for a night, but expect more basic conditions.
We recently stayed at this campground, which had its ups and downs. On the bright side, the owners were friendly, and the washrooms and showers were clean. However, we encountered significant issues with the water quality, making us worry about our health. The tight camping stalls were also a bit of a nuisance, especially for those with larger trailers. Overall, it served its purpose for a quick overnight stay, but improvements are definitely needed.
The campsite in Blue River has a quirky charm and is situated near Lake Eleanor, which offers various outdoor activities like canoeing and paddleboarding. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the unique honesty box concept for late arrivals. However, I found the proximity to the highway quite noisy, and the site felt crowded with not much privacy. It took longer than expected to reach the lake, making it difficult to use the rental canoes, and I would consider alternative accommodations next time.
I had a mixed experience at the campsite. On one hand, the outdoor cooking area was convenient and the washrooms were clean. On the other hand, I faced issues with my reservation and the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. While the campsite is close to the highway, it felt a bit neglected and could use some serious improvements.
I had an overall mixed experience at the campground. It had some nice aspects like being a simple and convenient place to stay for the night. However, the cleanliness and facilities left much to be desired, especially with the water quality and very limited bathroom amenities. I wouldn't say it's worth the price I paid for the stay.
